The 2010 World at War will pit 4 elite units against each other for a chance to join the feared 13th Demi-Brigade. You wanted it, you requested it and now you’ve got it. Four Separate Teams, NO FORCED Allies and every team out for themselves. Gather resources, gather intelligence, fight against your enemies and work hand in hand with the 13th Demi, impress them and you win, disappoint them and it’s a one way ticket home.

Objectives:

Defend your house
Each team will have a flag to defend. Every time your flag is lowered you lose massive points and you keep losing them until your flag is hung again.

Raid your Enemies
Attack your enemies bases and drop their flags, the more points you take from your enemy the better off you are in the end.

Pride
Your units are an elite military force, take pride in it. Each team will be provided with a mascot. Defend your mascot and steal your enemies. Each Mascot in your possession and being held in the designated area at the given check times will earn you massive points

A Mercenary from the first World at War

Cooperation
There are no Generals this year, Leaders will rise and take command or you will fail. How well you work together and how well you work with the 13th Demi will determine your fate. At the end of the day a representative of the 13th will award bonus points to the team they believed worked best with them.

Money Talks
Being a Merc is all about making the money. Collect cash and other resources and stockpile them at the designated area, get points. Guard them closely because the enemy will be trying to steal your loot….of course you’ll be trying to steal theirs to.

Mercenaries
13th Demi-Brigade portrayed once again by 1st Strike Paintball, but the rules have changed for the mercenaries this year. We heard your questions and comments and adjusted the game accordingly.

This year you’ve come to work for the 13th, they want to see if you’ve got the metal to join their ranks. The Mercenaries will rotate between the teams, spending equal time fighting for each group throughout the day, They will follow your orders but be aware, you are being judged. While attached to your team the Mercs will wear your color armbands so everybody knows what side they are on.

We listened when you said the headshot only rule was too difficult and you told us it was too hard to tell who was a Merc. This year the Headshot Only rule is no longer in effect, Mercs can be killed by a hit anywhere just like every other player. The downside ? Mercs will be equipped with Defense Shields. Yeah, shields... you should be able to recognize them now.

Mercs will come to your team with Armor, APC’s and a variety of other tools and equipment to help you win the battles, but they don’t do anything without orders, and same as last year … when your time is up, they will walk away.

Every Man For Himself
You asked for it, you got it... Each Army is on their own. You are free to make or break and alliances on your own terms and yes, "you CAN shoot your Allies".

Because of the number of the teams on the field, half of the teams will be close to the parking lot and the other half will have a long walk across the field. In order to balance this we have made a few adjustments to the game as follows:

Pre-Start Insertion
The teams on the 'far side' of the field will travel to their insertion points before the scenario starts. Players that miss the Pre-Start Insertion will be held off the field until their entry will not disrupt the game.

It will take time to walk across the field and re-group with your teammates, so the Pre-Start Insertion closes 15 (fifteen) minutes before the game begins. This policy will be enforced for both the Morning and Afternoon Starts.

DMZ
On the farthest side of the field, between the furthest teams insertion points is the De-Militarized Zone (DMZ). There will be on-field air fills and paint sales located at the DMZ. What? Say that again! That's right, Battlefront Paintball will be selling paint and filling air and Co2 on the field.

Paint, Air and Co2 will still be available from the main building in the parking lot as well.

All players may utilize the DMZ at any time, but you must return to your designated respawn point before re-engaging the enemy. "All-Day Air" fills will be honored, but bring cash if you need more paint on the field.

Lunch Break
After the lunch break the teams on the furthest side of the field will switch sides with the closer teams. Each team will spend an equal amount of time being on the 'far side' of the field.

See You At The Front !
We hope that you enjoy the changes we made this year and we are looking forward to the chaos as much as you are. We do everything we can to provide you with as fair and balanced of a game as can be expected. In that spirit, dishonorable players will be removed from the facilities with our pleasure.

290fps - Field Paint Only, we will be aggressively spot checking both all day.
